Ernie Jones

Ernest "Ernie" Warren Jones, 63, of Ravenden, Arkansas, passed away February 19, 2018, at his home. He was born September 7, 1954, to Elson and Jennie (Cox) Jones in Imboden, Arkansas. Ernie was a journeyman electrician. His hobbies included playing darts, shooting pool, and watching NFL games. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Maddie Middleton; and two brothers, Tony and Alfred Jones. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Faye (Adams) Jones of the home; three daughters: Tonya Gipson of Ellijay, Georgia, Olivia Jones of Ravenden, and Holly Stevens of Ash Flat, Arkansas; a son, Reid King III of Ocala, Florida; a sister, Ethel Ratliff of Imboden; eight grandchildren; and many other relatives and good friends. Visitation of family and friends will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 22, in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Bradford Cemetery near Williford, Arkansas. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
