Andy Louis Strader, 78, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017, in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born February 2, 1939, in Amarillo, Texas. Andy was a machinist in the tool and die industry and retired from Borg-Warner Automotive in Blytheville, Arkansas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Gertrude (Wise) Strader; a daughter, Kim; and a brother, Ray. Survivors include his wife, Ruth; sons, Andy of Cherokee Village and Chris (Connie) of Batesville; a step-son Shawn (Maggie) Hancock of Olive Branch, Mississippi; sisters, Beverly Lett and Hazel Strader; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and good friends. Memorial services will be private. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
