Harry Moore, 78, of Cherokee Village, Ark., was born Sept. 8, 1939, in Detroit, Mich., and died Sept. 21, 2017, in Little Rock, Ark. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for USG Interiors in Greenville, Miss. Harry was an active member of Spring River Baptist Church and a past commander of American Legion Post 336. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and loved hunting, fishing, and reading. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Harietta (Vanderpool) Moore; brothers: John, Roland, Robert, and Perry; sisters: Margie, Shirley, and Ann. Survivors include his wife, Betty Hollis Moore of the home; daughters, Robin (Darrel) Connick of Calgary, Canada, and Susan Cothran (Kim) Funnell of Cherokee Village; sons: Larry J. (Nina) Moore of Greenville, Miss., Todd M. (Stacy) Moore of Asheville, N.C., Jimmy Cothran, Jr. and partner Mike Taunton of Shreveport, La., Robert "Rocky" (Sharon) Cothran of Higdon, Ark.; grandchildren: Sky Carrier Phillips, Jeffery T. (Cailin) Carrier, Austin Cothran, Sydney Cothran, Josh Moore, Dusty (Misty) Baker, Meredith Moore, Brittany Moore, Kayla Lyles, and Patrick Moore; great-grandchildren: Koby, MaKinley, Heisman, Darien, Lee, Ash, Lacy, Caleb, and Kyndalyn; brother, Frank (Betty) Moore of Detroit; and many other relatives and good friends. Celebration of Life services will begin at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, in Spring River Baptist Church located on Hwy. 63 north of Hardy, Ark., with Terry Linderman officiating. Military honors will follow with burial in Bronaugh Cemetery next to the church. Visitation with the family will be from 1 p.m. until service time. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Ark.
