Roger Dean Withrow, 84, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away July 3, 2017, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas. He was born August 30, 1932, in Yorkville, Illinois. Roger was a master carpenter who worked across the United States and was involved in the building of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Highland, Arkansas. He was a past member of the Lion's Club and Boy Scouts of America. His hobbies included fishing and hunting, especially with friends including Crowbar Russell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn Electa (Windett) and Fay Austin Withrow; siblings: Roberta, Betty, and Dewayne; son, David; and grandson, Derrick. Survivors include his children: Allen Withrow of Ash Flat, Arkansas, Diane Jennings of Missouri, Shannon Tripp and Robert Withrow of Illinois, and James Withrow of Florida; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special friends: Douglas Herron, J.J. Counts, Lori Woods, Terry Shackelford, and Anthony Wiles; as well as fur babies, Dexter and Callie, along with many other relatives and good friends. The family will have services at a later date. Memorials are encouraged to Wiles Animal Rescue at Highland, Connor's Cure (begun by WWE), and American Cancer Society. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
