Jimmie Fay Medlock, 73, of Hardy, passed away April 4, 2017, in Salem, Ark. She was born March 11, 1944, in Caraway, Ark. As a homemaker she loved her family and enjoyed sewing and quilting. Her favorite hobby was working crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Medlock was preceded in death by her parents, Earle and Virgie (Barnes) Cagle; her husband, Delbert and son, Zane; brothers, Joe and Perry Cagle; sisters, Veda Mae Brown and Alma Ganday. Survivors include her son, Nathan (Wava) Medlock of Jonesboro, Ark.; sister, Zeda Mae Peek of Rockford, Ill.; brothers: Floyd Cagle of Greenwood, Ark., Danny and Marvin Cagle, both of Rockford, Ill., Jack Mear of Bono, Ark.; grandchildren: Alicia, Delbert, Leslie, and Katrina; a special friend, Nova Burdick; many other relatives and good friends. Visitation of family and friends will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 8, at the Ash Flat Church of Christ with funeral service to follow at 10 o'clock. James Goodman will officiate. Burial will be in Maxville Cemetery between Evening Shade and Cave City. Pallbearers include Tim Giles, Joe Giles, Blake Medlock, Caz Kennedy, Daniel Ellison and Richard Burdick. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Ark.
