Barbara VanAalsburg

Barbara JoAnn VanAalsburg, 74, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, departed this life March 15, 2017, at Eaglecrest Nursing Home in Ash Flat, Arkansas. She was born April 25, 1942, to Amos Carl and Gunhild (Martinson) Krsiaen in Hutchinson, Minnesota. Barbara was of the Lutheran faith and loved working crossword puzzles. She was married to the love of her life, Marvin Dean VanAalsburg for 55 years. Barbara loved her family and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband; three sons, Brent (Sheila) VanAalsburg of Mtn. View, Missouri, Bruce (VaNessa) VanAalsburg of Hardy, Arkansas, and Mark VanAalsburg of Harrison, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial services will be Saturday, March 25, 2017, at 9 a.m. in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Arkansas.
