Sharon Kay Bailey, 74, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017. She was born December 13, 1942, in Ash Flat. Kay was a homemaker of the Christian faith. She loved her family and cooking, and she had won singing competitions. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Norma (Groce) Soward; a daughter, Mona Lynn Bailey; and a granddaughter, Sierra Kay Goodman. Survivors include her husband, Leland G. Bailey of the home; a son, Rodney (Melinda) Williams of Cherokee Village; two daughters, Melissa (Gene) Moore of Ash Flat and Rebecca Bailey of Wichita, Kansas; five grandchildren: Shasta (Andy) Villari, Trisha (Tommy) Wilson, Allen (Lauren) Moore, Garrett Moore, and Margo (Ali) Bouhouch; ten great-grandchildren: Chase, Jody, Makayla, Brady, Bryce, Kaylie, Taylin, Layla, Norah, and Mariam; many other relatives and good friends. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, in Calvary Baptist Cemetery near Gentryville between Ash Flat and Evening Shade. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
