Wendy Sullivan

Ms. Lawanda "Wendy" Lynn Sullivan passed during the early morning hours on the 10th day of February 2017 surrounded by her loving father, mother, daughter and granddaughter at her home in Hardy as a result of a lifelong battle of severe epilepsy. Ms. Wendy was born February 28, 1969, to Terry and Ella Faye Sullivan in Jackson, Ky. Ms. Wendy was a graduate of Bay High School, Class of 1987. Despite Wendy's medical condition, her amiable personality and positive spirit led her to be a cheerleader, Campus Queen, Homecoming Queen and team volleyball player, all of which she loved. Everybody loved Wendy, and she always had a smile on her bright face. Wendy loved to collect teddy bears, loved roses and loved to play with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to church and watching worship on television. Ms. Wendy was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Woodrow and Vergi Fugate, and paternal grandparents, Robert and Gladys Sullivan; aunts Patsy Arms and Peggy Throgmartin and uncle Greg Throgmartin. Ms. Wendy is survived by her parents, Terry and Ella Faye; daughter, Chasity Tanielle Farrar and future son-in-law, Scott Hart; granddaughter Caleigh, future granddaughter Vanessa Hawley and grandsons, Caleb and Cason Farrar; sister, Sherry Lynn Parks and husband David; brother, Terry Sullivan II and wife Laura; sister, Melonie Dawn Sullivan and significant other Cedric Scott. She is also survived by nieces, Cassey Collins and Kaylin Paige Sullivan (future husband Douglas Moore); nephew, Terry Sullivan III (future wife Allie Wilson) and nephew Kannon Scott and niece Kylee Scott as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Ms. Wendy was provided care by her therapists, Debra Clayton and Sheila Allison. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chris Clem officiating. Burial will be at Wiles Cemetery in Ash Flat. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will include Terry "lil Terry" Sullivan II, Terry "Trey Bird" Sullivan III, Jerry "Tweet" Birdsong, Jimmy Fugate, Jeremy Donnelly, Douglas "Doogie" Moore. Honorary pallbearers are Scott Hart, Kannon Scott, Pamela Skaggs, and David Parks.
