Lewis Armel Jackson Booth, 85, of Williford, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017, at White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born January 16, 1931, at Williford. Lewis was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was the Williford postmaster for 31 years, a scoutmaster for several years, and an avid bowler. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Sisco; parents, Lora Gladys (Spradling) and Alvin Jackson Booth; sisters, Ernestine Morris, Maxine Murphy, Atha Cain, Eulanda Richardson; and brother, Cecil Booth. Lewis leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Eva Jean (Scott) Booth; daughters, Glenna Jean Booth of Williford and Dana Booth of Salem; sons, Jackie (Kathy) Booth of Williford, Ken and Lee Booth, both of Frankfort, Kentucky. Lewis was loved by 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. He is also survived by sisters, Glenna Santostefano of Hardy, Arkansas, Levada (Max) Allen of Frankfort, Kentucky, LaDonna Booth of Williford; brother, Johnny (Shirley) Booth of Mountain Home, Arkansas; and many other relatives and good friends. Visitation for Lewis will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 13, at Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 14, at New Song Baptist Church in Williford with Bro. Jim Swinford presiding. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery northwest of Williford. Pallbearers include Tony, Tim, and Brian Booth, Dennis Michael and Jody Sisco, Josh Booth, Lance Powell, Trint Booth, and Lee Booth, Jr. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
