Johnnie Wayne Ball, 59, passed away October 3, 2016, at his home in Hardy, Arkansas. He was born January 10, 1957, in Rockford, Illinois, to Junior Wayne and Shirley Ann Butterfield Ball. Johnnie served his country as a Marine. He became a welder and then worked as a tree trimmer. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Hardy. Johnnie lived a life full of love and blessings. The family was very blessed to have him as a husband, father, grandfather and brother. Johnnie will truly be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his dad and four brothers: Junior Wayne Thrasher, Jr., William, Steven, and Jerry Ball. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Kay Taylor Ball; sons, Joshua (Rebecca) Wilson and John David Ball; daughters: Clarissa (Benson) Anderson, Tonisha Newsom, Ruby (Corey) Gilliland, Evelynn (Joe Alan) Taylor, and Tonya (Eric) Rees; his mother, Shirley Peridore; brothers, Everett (Lorraine) Thrasher and Richard (Nancy) Ball; sisters, Laurie (Roger) Smits, Angenette Lowery, and Candy Winters; 30 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, at First Baptist Church in Hardy. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
