Raymond Trent Jr., 75, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, died Sunday, September 11, 2016, at White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born January 31, 1941, at Pea Ridge, Arkansas. Raymond married Norma Farley in Hardy on October 31, 1980. He was a greenskeeper at the golf courses in Cherokee Village and a member of the NRA. He was a great supporter of Hardy Homesteaders Days and a Trail Boss for 4-H St. Jude Trail Rides. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Weanetta; his wife, Norma; a daughter, Tracy Ray; and a niece, Melissa Kovalcin. Survivors include several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and good friends. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 14, in Baker Community Cemetery northeast of Hardy with Johnny Carter officiating. Pallbearers include Danny Farley, Max Farley, Mike Bystery, Rob Simers, Daniel Smith, and Curtis Ellis. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Richeson, Chad Farley, and Wade Farley, Terry Pryor, and Patrick Poteete.
