Mark Glynn Kerr, 58, formerly of Williford, Arkansas, died Friday, June 17, 2016, at his home in Bryan, Texas. He was born January 28, 1958, at Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mark was a field drilling operation manager for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation and a member of Wilson Masonic Lodge #432. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Dean and Betty Ruth (Shanks) Kerr. Survivors include his wife, Teré Kerr; children: Bradley (Cindy) Kerr of The Woodlands, Texas, Brittney (Jay) Burgess of Ash Flat, Arkansas, Michael (Jessica) Samford of Bryan, Texas, Jason (Crystal) Samford of Center, Texas, and Kristen (Justin) Richardson of Henderson, Texas; a brother, Clifton (Julie) Kerr of Missouri; a sister, Terry Towe of Tennessee; and grandchildren: Grayson Jaymes Burgess, Hannah Rose Burgess, Raven Samford, Colt Richardson, Korbin Samford, Dayton White, and Brayden Burgess. Mark is also remembered by forever friend, Gail Rose (Kerr) Wiggins, and her father, Berry Rose, along with many other relatives and good friends in Arkansas and Texas. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 23, in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Arkansas, with Stan Jones officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Baker Community Cemetery near Ozark Acres. Pallbearers will include Paul Sparks, Tracy Craig, Benny Hailey, Tom Drewett, Cliff Hawkins, Jimmy Lowder, and Charles Ivey. Honorary pallbearers are Tom Brown III, Mike Murphrey, Chris Sparks, and Richard Lunsford. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
