Clarence Gaylen Horton, 82, of Hardy, Arkansas, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016. He was born August 28, 1933, at Ash Flat, Arkansas, to Jeffrey Bruce and Hattie Beatrice (Schales) Horton. He was an electrician both in the U. S. Navy and in retirement. Clarence was a member of Hardy United Methodist Church. He loved John Wayne movies and Louis L'Amour books. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Norman Bruce Horton, and sisters, Aleitha Miller and Myrna Oyler. Survivors include his wife, Eudena Horton; a son, Daniel; a stepson, Timothy McHenry; a daughter, Sandra; stepdaughters, Karen Merifield and Jody Figurelli; a sister, Sharon Angel; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
