Anna Slayton, 73, of Hardy, Arkansas, died Thursday, March 31, 2016, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born September 18, 1942, at Monette, Arkansas. Anna was a real estate broker and closing agent and a member of Ward Street Church of Christ in Hardy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sarah Williams Corter, two brothers, one sister, one granddaughter, and one great-grandson. Survivors include her husband, Bill Slayton, of the home; a daughter, Paula (Thomas) Gann of Jonesboro; sons, Alan (Ambi) Slayton of Paragould and Dennis Slayton of Hardy; a sister, Linda Young of Leachville; nine grandchildren, Samantha Sheets, Josh Buchanan, Brett Despain, Taylor Roberts, Lucas Slayton, Erin Noack, Quinn Slayton, Jaggar Rogers, and Tyler Hobbs; fifteen great-grandchildren, Zachary, Hayden, and William Sheets, Garrett and Wyatt Buchanan, Kiley and Hannah Despain, Parker and Cooper Roberts, Riley Slayton, Riley Noack, Maddy, Gunner, and Kendall Holden, and Brailey Hobbs; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Monday, April 4, in Ward Street Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 3, at Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery north of Ozark Acres. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
