Clifford Rathbun

Clifford Duwayne Rathbun, 81, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born March 13, 1934, to Clifford and Ruth Rathbun in Fayette, Iowa. He spent most of his life in Lake Orion, Michigan, where he attended the Lake Orion Church of Christ. He was greatly loved by the members there. During his retirement years, Duwayne lived in Ash Flat and attended the Ash Flat Church of Christ, where he was a sweet presence to so many. He was a quiet man who loved to joke around. He was a great friend, brother, uncle, and true, faithful servant of the Lord. Those who knew him were blessed. He was loved greatly by friends both in Michigan and Arkansas and will be missed by all. Duwayne was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Rosalyn, Richard, and Robert. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
