Donald "Duck" M. Ratliff, 79, of Williford, Arkansas, died Monday, January 18, 2016, at his home. He was born February 22, 1936, at Williford. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 11 years and was a member of Spring River Baptist Church north of Hardy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Elsie Bailey Ratliff, two brothers, and one sister. Survivors include Nancy Holloway of the home; two sons, Martin Ratliff of Madison, Alabama, and Kevin L. (Katey) Holloway of Williford; five daughters, Deborah (Michael) Blevins of Haleyville, Alabama, Donna Holden of Athens, Alabama, Kim (Danny) Taylor of Highland, Arkansas, Tammy Key of Williford, and Amanda (Michael) Howerton of Williford; fifteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Darrell Ratliff of England, Arkansas; a sister, Carolyn Hill of Ravenden Springs, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2016, in the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel at Highland with Pastor Terry Linderman officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Creek Cemetery located on Martin Creek Road. Pallbearers are William "Chip" Ratliff, Butch Ratliff, James Ratliff, Terry Hill, Mike Ratliff, and Shawn Ratliff. Honorary pallbearers are Harry Moore, Vince Rosengarth, Steve Collins, and members of American Legion Post 336. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, January 21, at Tri-County Funeral Home. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
