Arlene Schultz, 92, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, was born May 17, 1923, in New Jersey. She died October 21, 2015, at EagleCrest Nursing and Rehab Center in Ash Flat, Arkansas. She served as a 2nd Lt. Army Air Force nurse from March 1945 to May 1946 and was a member of the Cherokee Village American Legion Post 346 and a founding member of the Cherokee Village Lutheran Church ELCA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Marie Kunberger Fischer; a brother, Carl; and her husband, Fred R. Schultz. Survivors include daughter, Meg Littlepage of Denver, Colorado; sons, Robert Schultz of McKinney, Texas, Rick Schultz of Mahtomedi, Minnesota, and Paul Schultz of Akron, Ohio; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 8, at Cherokee Village Lutheran Church with Pastors Joan Ewaldsen and Kay Yates officiating. Interment will follow in the church columbarium. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
