Christi Mills

Christina Gayle Mills, 55, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015, at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born July 4, 1960 in Salem, Arkansas, and had worked as an elementary teacher in the Highland School District for 33 years. She was a loving wife and best friend to her husband Rick. Christi was a member of Agnos Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Oscar and Clayta Rogers Ballard and her brother, Kevin James Ballard. Survivors include her husband, Rick Mills of the home and her best friend, Carol Woods along with many other relatives, former students, and good friends. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, in the Ash Flat Church of Christ with Farrell Nicholson officiating. Burial will follow in Wiles Cemetery at Ash Flat. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 19, in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland. Pallbearers include Dale Neeley, Ken Diamond, Preston Wiles, Spencer Wiles, Clint Wiles, and Bob Woods. Honorary pallbearers will be Eugene McCord, Kalen McCord, Noble McCord, Jack Curtis, Marc Rogers, Eric Nytrai, and Jimmy Mills. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
