Virginia Skowlund

Virginia Louise Skowlund, 91, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015, at EagleCrest Nursing and Rehab Center in Ash Flat, Arkansas. She was born July 27, 1924, in Springfield, Ohio. Mrs. Skowlund had worked as a secretary and a housewife. She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Marjorie Jerrems Wright; her husband, David Skowlund; and two sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Georgia Stewart and her husband, Doug, of Elkhorn, Wisconsin; a grandchild, John Moore; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
