Attie Louise Horrell, 97, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, died Friday, September 25, 2015, at Ash Flat Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 9, 1918, at Ash Flat to Luther and Elsie (Ma) Ellis Paden. She worked in the Arkansas State University Bookstore for several years and retired from the Veterans Affairs office at Arkansas State University. She was a member of the Hardy United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star, and VFW Women's Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Willett on Okinawa in WWII; son, Jimmy Lee Willett; mother, Elsie "Ma" Weaver; father, Luther Paden; stepfather, Henry Weaver; and sister, Orthany Dekker. Survivors include her son, Charlie Horrell of Hardy; three grandchildren: Chuck, Derek, and Leahanne Horrell; eight great-grandchildren: Whitney Dickerson, Kiley, Lindsey, and Riley Horrell, Jayden Barr, Jagger, Ashley, and Gage Robinson; three great-great grandchildren: Clayton and Addison Clouse and Kale Ellis; a special nephew, Paden Neeley and his children: Pat, Phillip, and Ann Neeley; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, September 28, 2015, at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel in Highland with Brien Nix Hall and Johnny Carter officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Burial will follow in the Wiles Cemetery located at Ash Flat. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
