Avery Joseph Underwood, 28, of Ash Flat, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at White County Medical Center in Searcy. He was born June 1, 1987, in Batesville. Avery was a member of the Glencoe Volunteer Fire Department and Crossroads Baptist Church of Ash Flat. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George and Olive Underwood and maternal grandmother, Melba Bohannan. Survivors include his wife, Ariel Underwood of the home; his parents, John and Luauana Underwood of Ash Flat; maternal grandfather, Charles Bohannan Sr. of Franklin; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 25, at Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel in Highland. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 26, at the A.L. Hutson Memorial Center located in Highland, Arkansas, on Hwy. 62/412 with Bro. Henry Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Baker Cemetery located near Myron. Pallbearers include Shane Green, Reed Fortner, Bubba Johnson, Matt Sanders, Hayden Bennett, and Michael Moore. Honorary pallbearers include Anthony Green, Bryan Mullaney, Cody Carithers, Nikolas Goodman, Aaron Morrow, Michael Beard, Rome Harmon, Heath Lenderman, Clinton Sisco, Richard Price, and Robert Morrow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, Arkansas Children's Hospital, or Glencoe Volunteer Fire Department. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
