Bettye Cruse

Bettye Darlene Cruse, 75, of Cherokee Village, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born October 26, 1939, in Jonesboro to Paul and Opal Duncan Cruse, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers. Bettye worked as an operator/office manager before retiring from Century Telephone Company. Survivors include sons, Jimmy (Venora) Lowder and Tony (Tammy) Lowder, both of Hardy; sisters, Marilyn Lowe and Debbie DePriest; brothers, Jimmy Paul Cruse, David Cruse, and Danny Cruse; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, at Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel in Highland. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
