Vic Ellis

Vicky "Vic" J. Ellis, 65, of Hardy, Arkansas, formerly of Ravenden, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015, at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born October 18, 1949, in Jonesboro to Ray and Bessie Williamson Ellis, who preceded him in death. Vic worked as an auto body rebuilder for many years. He was a Mason and of the Christian faith. Survivors include his wife Carlene of the home; daughter Sarah Ellis and son Patrick (Melissa) Ellis, all of Hardy; brother Mack Ellis of Ravenden; sisters Priscilla Thayer of Marietta, Georgia, and Judy McCracken of Marshall, Arkansas; grandchildren Alexis, Jagger, and Maci; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation with the family will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 2, in the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel at Highland. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Tom Rhoades officiating. Burial will be in Dail Cemetery at Ravenden. Pallbearers include Braden Graddy, Brent Ellis, Branson Ellis, Jonathan Boyer, Matthew Boyer, and Jason Marshall. Honorary pallbearers are Todd McCracken, Chris Smith, Danny Conway, and Shawn Crawford. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
