Leroy Mennen

Leroy Louis Mennen, 81, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born February 21, 1934, in Linn Township, Illinois, to Louis and Alma (Gerjets) Mennen. Mr. Mennen was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a retired farmer and campground owner. He had attended the Highland Assembly of God. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Betty VanMeter. Survivors include his wife Kathleen; his sons, B. Michael (Reagan) Coble of Henderson, Texas, and Rick Mennen of Houston, Texas; his daughters, Julie (Sherman) Brewer of Morton, Illinois, and Deb Mennen of Sugarland, Texas; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many other relatives and friends. No services or visitation are planned at this time. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
