Eugene G. Hamlin, 84, of Williford, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Ark. He was born May 9, 1930, in Davenport, Iowa, to Frank O. and Lottie M. (King) Hamlin. He was a machinist for many years and a member of First Baptist Church of Cherokee Village. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pauline M. Hamlin; and one nephew, Tyler Hamlin. Survivors include his sons, David (Mitchelle) Hamlin of McMinnville, Oregon, Kyle Hamlin of Illinois, and Daniel (Ruthanne) Hamlin of Morning Sun, Iowa; his daughters Robyn Miller of Muscatine, Iowa, Lori (Bill) Cain of Williford, Arkansas, and Kathryn Thorne of Shelbyville, Tennessee; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
