Jean Warren

H. Jean "Karlsson" Warren, 88, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away April 22, 2015, at her residence. She was born May 31, 1926, in Carterville, Illinois, to Albert and Bessie (Hindman) Lannom. She was a book packer for 25 years and loved going to different dances as often as she could. She was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands, Harry Sterling and Odd Karlsson; a son, Todd Michael Karlsson and an adopted son, Michael Anthony Karlsson; four brothers and three sisters; and a special friend, Richard Perrin. Survivors include her sons, Steven (Linda) Sterling of Aurora, Illinois, and Karl (Karen) Karlsson of Ash Flat; her daughters, Lois Anderson of Mtn. View, Arkansas, and Marsha Perkins of Carthage, Mississippi; 16 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 27, in the McKinney Chapel Cemetery in Marion, Illinois, with Albert D. Kelly officiating. Arrangements are with Blue Funeral Home of Marion. Local arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
