Margaret Story, 83, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015, at her home. She was born July 3, 1931, in Bruce, Mississippi, to Rudolph and Exy (Patterson) Vanlandingham. Mrs. Story was a housewife and loving mother, a friend to all, and a member of First Baptist Church of Cherokee Village. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sons John Mark and William Allen, and her daughter Joan Marie. Survivors include her husband John Story and daughter Marcia (Randy) Canada of Missouri; sisters Elizabeth Montgomery of Bartlett, Tennessee, and Connie Eaton of Birmingham, Alabama; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 14, at 2 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Cherokee Village with Larry White officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Highland, Arkansas. Visitation with the family will begin at 1 p.m. and continue until time of service. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
