Elden "Bud" Holm, 88, of Hardy, Arkansas, died February 5, 2015, at his home. He was born October 23, 1926, in Rembrandt, Iowa, to Lewis and Edna Klutz Holm. He was a plumber for many years and a member of the Elks Lodge in Highland, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Loren "Butch" Holm, and his sister Della Mae Vail. Survivors include his wife Betty of the home; sons Thomas (Joann) Holm of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Marlin "Moe" (Gail) Holm of Bella Vista, Arkansas; daughters Karen (Jim) Tharp of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, and Jeannine (Mark) Coates of Fremont, Nebraska; a sister Betty Lou Matthews of Terril, Iowa; eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. A service will be held by the family at a later date.
