Jimmy Gee, 78, of Cherokee Village, died Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at a local hospital. He was born June 28, 1936, in Blytheville to Woodrow and Ruby Reed Gee. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother Elzene Gee, a daughter Stacy Caviness, and brother Lynn Gee. He is survived by his partner Louise Swink of Cherokee Village, son Chris Gee and wife Tammy of Blytheville, daughter Jaime Gee of Jonesboro, and son-in-law Curty Caviness. He is also survived by four sisters: Betty Lemon of Blytheville, Sherry Hanner of Osceola, Billie Sue Evans of Antioch, California, and Millie Sturgeons of Olive Branch, Mississippi, and sister-in-law Kathy Gee of Little Rock. He was a loving grandfather to eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland, Arkansas, with burial following in Wiles Cemetery located in Ash Flat, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors prior to funeral services from noon until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Ash Flat Cemetery Fund. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
