Zelma L. Wilson, 81, of Koshkonong, Missouri, died Tuesday, December 23, in Thayer, Mo. She was born on September 18, 1933, in Poughkeepsie, Arkansas, to Leaton Monroe and Miranda Belle Goff Goings. Mrs. Wilson was of the Church of Christ faith. She had worked as a waitress, was a housewife, and was married to Bryan J. Wilson for 65 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Patsy Newberry, five sisters, and four brothers. Survivors include her husband Bryan of the home, her son Billy (Jeanie) Wilson of Bakersfield, Mo. and her daughter Kathy Stirewalt of Koshkonong, Mo.; sisters Lena Hamilton and Wilma Warner; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Friday, December 26, at 2 p.m. in the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel in Highland, Ark., with Jared Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Turkey Pen Cemetery located in Highland. Visitation will be Friday from 1 p.m. until time of service. Pallbearers include B.J. Willbanks, Brandon Willbanks, Nathan Deckard, Jeremy Wilson, Kenneth Hamilton, Gaylon Hamilton, and Rowdy Trivitt. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
