Donna L. Cooper

Donna L. Cooper, 81, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away November 5, 2014, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born in Hardy, Arkansas but lived most of her life in the Kansas City, Missouri area where she raised three children with her husband Otis Cooper. Donna was preceded in death by her son Steven Cooper, husband Otis Cooper, parents Vera and Ralph Smith, and her brother Bill Smith. Donna leaves a daughter Neiha Cooper and a son Bennie Cooper both of Shawnee; two granddaughters Mitchele Hunt of St. Joseph, MO, and Brandi Ringer of Blue Springs, MO; one grandson Joel Cooper, and a great-grandson Ethan Caw. Also surviving Donna are two sisters, Brenda Jackson of Hardy and Judy Bell of Las Vegas, NV; a brother, Jack Smith of Hardy; and many nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life is planned for Tuesday, November 11, from 5-8 P.M. at Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland, Arkansas, with interment on November 12 at 10 A.M. in Perry Cemetery near Hardy.
