Cleatus Calvin King, 66, of Hardy, Arkansas, died Friday, October 24, 2014, at his home. He was born May 22, 1948, in Arkansas City, Kansas, to Cal King Jr. and LouAlice Atchley. He worked for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for forty years and was a trustee at Christian Tabernacle in Hardy. He was preceded in death by his father, one son David King, one brother Darrel King, and one sister Brenda Morrill. Survivors include his wife Diane King of the home; his mother LouAlice Holderby of Cassville, Missouri; one son Nathan and wife Leslie King of Hardy, Arkansas; one daughter-in-law Angelia King of Violet Hill, Arkansas; two sisters Rhonda Pearsall and Darla Olle; four grandchildren: Johnny Jones, Luke King, Elisabeth King, and Aaron King; several nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, October 27, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in the Christian Tabernacle on Hwy 175 N with Bro. Jason Jackson, Bro. Frank McComas, and Bro. Norman Decker officiating. Burial will follow in Eagle's Rest Cemetery next to the Christian Tabernacle. Visitation will be Monday, October 27, 2014, from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the Christian Tabernacle. Pallbearers are Nathan King, Johnny Jones, Luke King, Aaron King, Alan Barnes, and Harvey G. Savage. Honorary Pallbearers are David Curtis, Curtis Jackson, Nathaniel Vallance, and Sam Vogt. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
