Verlon Earl Parks

Verlon Earl Parks, age 74 of Cherokee Village, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 surrounded by his family. Earl was born to Dorothy and Preston Parks on October 28, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan. He was a proud Mason and active member. He was a kind, generous and loving father, grandfather, and husband. Earl is survived by his wife, Carol; his son, Bruce (Lisa) Parks; sisters, Joanne Boatman and Kathy (Charles) Malone; grandchildren, Kandace, Holly, Josh, and Katherine Parks. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Martha; his parents; and several siblings. Funeral Services will begin Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jackie Harrell officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel located in Highland, Arkansas.
