Ronald Manning age 77 of Williford, Arkansas passed away May 19, 2014 at his home. He was born January 25, 1937 at Jonesboro, Arkansas to Eddie Manning Sr. and Cozie “McIntosh” Manning. He was a retired school teacher, a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to all who knew him. He was a member of the Forrest Hills Baptist Church located in the Williford area; he loved his church and his pastor very much. He was preceded in death by his Father and one daughter Jo Lynn Copley. Survivors include his wife Lou Manning of the home, his mother Cozie Peterson of Nebraska, three sons, Ron Manning and wife Margie of Knoxville, Tennessee, Roy Manning of Greenville, Texas, and Jessie Manning of Hardy, Arkansas, one brother Eddie Manning Jr. of Hardy, Arkansas, one sister Susan Peterson of Nebraska, eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will begin Thursday May 22, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Baker Cemetery located north of Ozark Acres with Bro. Hank McElderry officiating. Visitation will begin Thursday May 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. until Noon at the Forrest Hills Baptist Church located in the Williford area. Pallbearers are Dwayne Crawford, Curtis James, Randy Elmore, Bobby Lamb, Levi Lamb, Terry Coleman All arrangements by Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas
