Kathryn Ann (Walker) Vicry, age 86 of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, died Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born July 8, 1927 in Hardy, Arkansas to Thomas W. and Berta Ann (Daugherty) Walker. She was a teacher for many years and a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. Kathryn was a member of the Hardy United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Hill Vicry; and one sister. Survivors include one son, Thomas Walker Vicry and wife Tammy Candress of Dayton, Tennessee; one daughter, Vicki Strickland of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; one sister, Mildred Jackson; three Grandchildren; two Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will begin Friday, September 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hardy United Methodist Church located in Hardy, Arkansas with Marion Fleming and Dewey Dark officiating. Burial will follow in the Hardy Cemetery located in Hardy, Arkansas. Visitation will be Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel located in Highland, Arkansas.
