Jerry Peebles

Jerry Peebles age 91 of Poughkeepsie, Arkansas passed away September 21, 2013 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born July 19, 1922 at Smithdale, Mississippi to parents Benona and Esther “Gerald” Kellett. She was a teacher for many years and a member of the Hardy United Methodist Church, Arkansas Retired Teachers Association and a Dedicated Democrat. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Earl T. Peebles. She is survived by one son Tom Peebles and wife Joy of Russellville, Arkansas; two daughters Ann Gammill and husband Kevin of Chattanooga, Oklahoma and Barbara Jean Martin and husband Charlie of Poughkeepsie, Arkansas; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will begin Tuesday September 24, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Hardy United Methodist Church located in Hardy, Arkansas with Rev. Marion Fleming officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery located near her home. Visitation will begin Monday September 23, 2013 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Tri-County Funeral Home located in Highland, Arkansas.
