Ray Allen Gentry, age 64 of Ash Flat, Arkansas, went to his heavenly home on Monday, September 9, 2013. He passed away at his home in the company of his loved ones. He was born February 10, 1949 in Jacksonville, Illinois to Ira and Ila Christine (Spires) Gentry. Ray worked in maintenance for many years. He was a loving husband, a loving uncle to two special nephews; and a loving grandpa to two granddaughters. He was a member of the Riding on Faith Cowboy Church in Salem, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters. Survivors include his wife, Lori Gentry of the home; two nephews, Joshua Gentry of Ash Flat, Arkansas and Ira Gentry and wife Tiffany of Cherokee Village; two granddaughters Madison Gentry and Bailey Gentry, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Riding on Faith Cowboy Church located in Salem, Arkansas with Stuart Jones officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Riding on Faith Cowboy Church located in Salem, Arkansas.
