Ernestine Marie Trudeau, age 82 of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, died Monday, August 12, 2013 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born June 1, 1931 in Wikwemikong Ontario, Canada to Patrick and Isabelle Nadjiwan. She was a loving mother, teacher, and friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis Nolan Trudeau; one son, Trevor Earl Trudeau; one daughter, Shirley Ann Van Horn; two brothers; one sister; and two son-in-laws, Joe Eltousse and David Pickens. Survivors include two sons, Gerry Trudeau and wife Janice of Ontario, Canada and Frank Trudeau of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; four daughters, Diane Trudeau of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, Beverly Durdan and husband John of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Karen Trudeau of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, and Andrea Eltousse of Windsor, Ontario Canada; two sisters, Bernadette Nahmawan and Hilda Merrilanean; seven grandchildren, Pamela Sue, Amy Lisa, Nikki, Nina, Victoria, Laura, and Kelly; eight great grandchildren, Kaleb, Lilly, Gabriel, Isaiah, Anna Marie, Caleb, Evelyn, and August; several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will begin Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel located in Highland, Arkansas with Pastor Chris Thorman officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. until service time at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel.
