Raymond Kathman

Raymond Kathman, age 87 of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, died August 12, 2013 at the Ash Flat Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born July 9, 1926 in Oconto, Nebraska to Edward and Frances (Reining) Kathman. Raymond worked for the Armour Company for 30 years. He was a loving husband, father, and friend to all who knew him. Raymond was also a member of the St. Michaels Catholic Church of Cherokee Village. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Danny Kathman;one grandson;five brothers; and five sisters. Survivors include his wife Ruth Armstrong Kathman of the home; one son, Bern Kathman and wife Deb of Cripple Creek, Colorado; three daughters, Sharon Swisher of Lincoln, Nebraska, Kathy Smith and husband Roger of Savannah, Missouri, and Jean Donaldson and husband Mark of St. Joseph, Missouri; three sisters, Parma Kathman, Frances Klein, and Edna Wilhelm; 11 Grandchildren; many Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
