Jack Lionel Angel, age 70 of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, passed away suddenly on July 17, 2013 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was born February 15, 1943 in Beloit, Wisconsin to Jack and Mildred Angel. Jack went on to meet the love of his life, Elizabeth (Krueger) Angel at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Married November 14, 1964, Jack and Beth enjoyed nearly 49 years together. A distinguished career in sales and marketing with companies including Walker-Parkersburg, Textron, and Greenlee allowed Jack and his family the opportunity to relocate to various cities throughout the Midwest, making many lifelong friends along the way. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. Jack’s best days came in retirement where he fulfilled his lifelong dream to retire with his best friend/wife by his side in a house on a lake. A fishing pole, soda, and sandwich were also never far from reach. Survivors include his wife, Beth Angel of the home; one son, Jon Angel of Morgan City, Louisiana; one daughter, Heather Joyce and husband Kevin of St. Louis, Missouri; one sister, Valerie Hunt and husband Paul of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin; five Grandchildren, Lauren, Matthew, Nolan, Ethan, and Rylan; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial Services will be held Monday, July 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Spring River Presbyterian Church located in Hardy, Arkansas with Sam Williams officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel located in Highland, Arkansas.
