Noel Houston Stout, 86 year-old resident of Luther, Oklahoma, passed away June 13, 2013 at his home. Born June 5, 1927 in Evening Shade, Arkansas, he was the son of William Franklin Stout and Mattie (Marlin) Stout. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the D.A.V. Chapter # 39 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Noel was a residential contractor in drywall/sheetrock. He loved drawing/painting; fishing/hunting; and playing the guitar and harmonica. Preceding him in death were his parents, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters. Survivors include 2 sons, William F. Stout of Tennessee; Charles W. and his wife Goldie Stout of Luther, Oklahoma; 3 daughters, Deborah Elaine Stout of Nashville, Tennessee; Phillis Marlene Stout of Dexter, Missouri; and Sharon Fowler of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Hestel Stout of Cleveland, Ohio; and Lester Stout of Hardy, Arkansas; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will begin Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel located in Highland, Arkansas with Hestel Stout officiating. Burial will follow in the Lorado Cemetery located in Lorado, Arkansas. Visitation will be Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until service time. All arrangements are by Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
