Melda L. Cone

Melda L. Cone, age 90, was born February 17, 1923, in Sage, Arkansas, and passed away peacefully at home in Cherokee Village, May 28, 2013. She was predeceased by her parents, Homer and Gladys Helm; her husband, Charles B. Cone; her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou and Weston Tucker; and her grandson, M. Chad Tucker. She is survived by her son, Baxter Cone, and wife, Mary; one brother, Jimmie T. Helm (Veda); one sister, Minnie White; grandchildren, Holli Tucker, Michael Tucker, and Trey Cone (Tiffany); great grandchildren, Chase and Maci Cone; special niece, Linda Circle and dear friend Virginia Baldridge; and a host of other friends and loved ones. Pallbearers are Bill French, Russ White, Tom Cone, Art Christian, Bill Circle, and Trey Cone. Honorary Pallbearers are Megan Kulczycki, Carlene Ellis, Velma Sutherland, Kathy Christian, and The Ladies Bible Class at Ward Street Church of Christ. Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ward Street Church of Christ located in Hardy, Arkansas. Funeral Services will begin Friday, May 31, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ward Street Church of Christ.
