Venita (June Draper) Withrow Venita (June Draper) Withrow, 78, of Ash Flat, AR. formally of Sims, IL. passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012. She was born in Sims, IL on August 19, 1934, the daughter of Curtis Fenton and Martha Elizabeth (Hunt) Fenton. She was a house wife and a retired City Treasurer of Ash Flat, AR. Mrs. Venita (June) Withrow is survived by two step daughters Annette and Dennis Burgess of Millstadt, IL. and Loretta Lawrence of Las Vegas, NV. Eight children, Dava and Denny Austin of Sims, IL, Rodney and Sasha McCormick of Carmi, IL, Lisa and Mark Long of Hardy, AR, Lori and Ray Gentry of Ash Flat, AR, Russell and Rene’ Draper of Cherokee Village, AR, Robert Draper of Ash Flat, AR, Richard and Paula Draper of Jonesboro, AR, Angela and Todd Doty of Salem, AR, One sister Joyce and Jack Scott of Sims, IL, 16 Grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Withrow was preceded in death by her parents Curtis and Elizabeth Fenton; Two daughters Deborah McCormick and Carolyn Sue McCormick; one son Curtis McCormick; one step son David (Olen) McCormick, Three husbands, David Alfred McCormick; Herbert Draper; and Delbert Withrow. One grandchild Jessica Draper; one great-grandchild Jordan Rainey. Visitation will be Thursday December 6, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Riding on Faith Cowboy Church in Salem, AR. Another visitation will be held on December 8, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A Dinner will be served for the family following the service at Olive Branch. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for monetary donations to Thomason Cemetery or Olive Branch Cemetery both located in Wayne City, IL.
