Steve R. Smith

Steve R. Smith, age 62, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born July 30, 1950 in Mount Clemens, Michigan to John and Violet (Wirth) Smith. He was in the auto industry for 20 years and then owned a tool shop in Michigan. He was also a member of the Roseville Lions Club in Roseville, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Survivors include his wife, Karen (Chase) Smith of the home; one son, Steve Smith and soon to be wife, Karen Watkins of Michigan; one daughter, Michelle Adams and husband Mike of New Mexico; one sister, Cheryl Gordon of Williford, Arkansas; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
