Lily M. de Maldonado

Lily M. de Maldonado “Mama”, age 86, of Highland, Arkansas, formerly of Puerto Rico, died Saturday, September 8, 2012 at her home. She was born July 10, 1926 in Caguas, Puerto Rico to Pablo Morales and Rita Carrasquillo. She was a legal secretary for the Supreme Court in Puerto Rico for many years and a member of the Cowboy Church in Salem, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Antonio Maldonado. Survivors include three daughters, Lilibeth and husband Carlos Garcia, Madeline and husband Angel Ruiz, and Arlene Maldonado; four Grandchildren, Rafael A. Cabranes, Jose R. Cabranes, Camille C. Hall, and Antonel Sayers; four Great Grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel located in Highland, Arkansas with Pastor Stuart Jones officiating.
