Pamela Jane (Thompson) Olson, age 55, of Evening Shade, Arkansas died Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Norman, Oklahoma. She was born March 19, 1957 at Kansas City, Kansas to John Richard and Mary Jo (Kenner) Thompson Sr. She was a surveyor for the pipeline. She was preceded in death by her father, John Richard Thompson Sr., her step-father, Charles Edler, an infant son, and two brothers. Survivors include her husband John Olson of the home; her mother, Mary Jo Edler of Evening Shade, Arkansas; two sons, Robert Cox Jr. and wife Julie of Elm Store, Arkansas and Ronnie Twilley and wife Nikki of Hardy, Arkansas; two step-sons, Larry Olson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and John Olson II and wife Erica of Dallas, Texas; three brothers; six Grandchildren; two Step-Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will begin Monday, July 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel located in Highland, Arkansas with David Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery located in Highland, Arkansas. Visitation will be Sunday, July 8, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Spring River Adult and Children’s Services, P.O. Box 474, Ash Flat, AR 72513. All arrangements are by Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Carl Baldridge, Don Cooper, Bill Hobbs, Lynn Twilley, Matthew Twilley, and Jim Sitz. Honorary Pallbearers are R.J. Twilley and Dalton Cox.
