Nicholas C. Salamone

Nicholas C. Salamone, age 80, of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, died Saturday, May 12, 2012 at his home. He was born December 5, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to Anthony and Josephine Salamone. He was a truck driver and a Korean War Veteran. He was a beloved husband of Geraldine Salamone and former husband of Frances. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, James Salamone and Anthony Salamone. Survivors include his wife Geraldine Salamone of the home; two sons, Nick Salamone Jr. and wife Marg of Chicago, Illinois and Michael Salamone and wife Carol of Chicago, Illinois; four daughters Debra Brawley and husband Russell of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas, Frances Hollis of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas, Josephine Kroll of Chicago, Illinois, and Beth Reihm and husband Matt of West Plains, Missouri; twenty-three Grandchildren; thirty-three Great Grandchildren; one Great –Great Grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will begin Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel located in Highland, Arkansas with Pastor Jim Farris officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel. All arrangements are by Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
